Vol. Patrick Torphy Monmouth County Division 2 was formed in 1990 in the Middletown area. The Division has won AOH national charity awards on multiple occasions. Monmouth 2 runs a Polar Bear Plunge each January that has raised over $2,000,000 to support area Catholic Schools.

What is the Ancient Order of Hibernians?
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization founded concurrently in the coal-mining region of Pennsylvania and New York City in May,1836.
